• How do I mute the beep sound on the deadbolt?
  To disable the beeping sound, uninstall the interior trim by removing the two screws, locate the switches on the electronic interior and slide switch # 3 to the down or off position.
• What is auto lock and how do I turn it off?
  The 30 second auto lock feature automatically throws the bolt to the lock position 30 seconds after the deadbolt is unlocked. To disable, uninstall the interior trim by removing the two screws, locate the switches on the electronic interior and slide switch # 2 to the down or off position.
• What is auto lock and how do I turn it off?
  The door indicator light on the interior trim will blink green, amber or red to indicate unlocked, locked or low battery status. To disable, uninstall the interior trim by removing the two screws, locate the switches on the electronic interior and slide switch # 1 to the down or off position.
• How do I activate or wake-up the Baldwin Touchscreen Deadbolt?
  Activate the Touchscreen Deadbolt with your palm or the back of your hand.
• How many user codes can be programmed into the Baldwin Touchscreen Deadbolt?
  Up to 16 customizable user codes for stand alone and 30 for Z-Wave version with 4 to 8 digit code length.
• What if my door is thicker than 1-3/4"?
  With the hardware supplied in the box, the Touchscreen Deadbolt will install on a 1-3/4" door only. Baldwin has a thick door conversion kit available separately to support 2" up to 2-1/4" thick doors. Please contact Baldwin Customer Service at 800-437-7448 and reference part# 5399.xxx.A for details. Touchscreen Deadbolt does not support door thicknesses smaller than 1-3/4".
• What if my door is thicker than 1-3/4"?
  The Touchscreen Deadbolt is easy to install in 15 to 20 minutes and only requires a Phillips head screw driver.
• What should I do if the motor sounds like it is struggling to lock or unlock the deadbolt?
  This usually happens when the batteries are dying. If you have recently changed your batteries, there may be an issue with the bolt rubbing against the strike or the door's weather stripping that is placing an additional load on the bolt and thereby draining the batteries. This requires the strike to be adjusted to ensure the deadbolt latch is operating smoothly. If you continue to have an issue, please contact Baldwin Customer Service at 800-437-7448.
