  • Does Baldwin offer thick door kits for the Touchscreen deadbolt?

    Yes, thick door kits are available to order.  Please refer to the Touchscreen deadbolt section of the catalog for full options, or contact Customer Service at 1-800-566-1986 for further assistance.

  • Can I make my Touchscreen a full handle set?

    Yes, we offer standalone grip handle kits that can be paired with your existing Touchscreen deadbolt.

  • How do I connect my Touchscreen deadbolt to my smart home system?

    There are several different connectivity system types in the market today.  The system that the Touchscreen works with is Z wave.  If your smart home system uses Z wave, it should be compatible.

  • Do all Touchscreen deadbolts have compatibility for smart home use?

    No, the Touchscreen deadbolt is available with Z Wave connection or just as a standalone deadbolt. 

    If you already have a standalone, Z Wave compatibility cannot be added and new connected version would need to be purchased.

Level Electronic Lock
  • Will this fit my door?​

    A: The system is only compatible with 1-3/4" thick doors with a 2-1/8" bore and standard tubular deadbolt. It will not work with mortise, multipoint, or interlocking systems. Always verify all specifications before proceeding.​

  • How long does the battery last?

    A: Approximately one year with normal usage. However, binding due to improper alignment can significantly reduce battery life. Always ensure smooth manual operation for optimal performance.

  • Can I control it remotely?

    A: Remote and voice control require either the Level Connect hub or the Matter-Thread SKU. The base model uses Bluetooth, which has limited range and requires proximity to operate.​

  • Is the Baldwin Level trim certified?

    A: Certification testing is in progress. The trim is designed to meet Grade 2 or higher standards, with formal BHMA testing scheduled in LKF for late 2025

  • What does this mean for me today?​

     ​A: You can feel confident knowing the Baldwin × Level set combines Baldwin craftsmanship with Level’s Grade 1 deadbolt performance, with certification of the trim underway.​
