Our product lines are covered by different types of warranties. Estate door hardware and home hardware, cabinet hardware, and bath accessories are covered by the Estate Warranty.
- Lifetime Limited Warranty:
Baldwin warrants to the original consumer purchaser that each of Baldwin Archetypes products be free from mechanical defects for the lifetime of the applicable product as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the product. Baldwin Archetypes hardware uses the finest silicon and white bronze available for our solid bronze casting process. Baldwin Archetypes warrants the lifetime guarantee for its bronze products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. We do not warrant living finishes. The natural oxide utilized to create the living finish is meant to age with time. Atmospheric conditions can cause staining and alkaline etching that varies by geography. In addition, frequency of use will cause the finish to gracefully age in appearance. These finish changes are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by this warranty. Rather, they are indicative of normal wear and tear and reflect the essence of a living finish.

Baldwin warrants that each Baldwin product shall be free of mechanical defect for the original purchaser for as long as you own your home.
Limited Lifetime Finish™ Warranty:
The Baldwin Lifetime Finish uses advanced finishing technology (physical vapor deposition) to create a finish highly resistant to the effects of weather and normal wear and tear. The Limited Lifetime Finish Warranty on Lifetime Finish™ products covers the original purchaser for as long as you own your home.
Limited Finish Warranty:
The finish on Baldwin products (excluding Lifetime Finish and living finish products) is protected by a durable topcoat designed to maintain the beauty and quality of the Baldwin product. The Baldwin Limited Finish Warranty covers the original purchaser for five years from date of purchase for interior use and one year for exterior use.
Living Finishes:
Due to the nature of Baldwin living finish products, they will wear over time and may already have begun the process before reaching your home. No finish warranty is offered on living finish products, which are designed to age and improve over time. Living finishes include raw brass, oil rubbed bronze, stainless steel, and other non-lacquered or non-PVD finishes.

Baldwin warrants that each Baldwin product shall be free from mechanical defects for a period of 3 years from time of purchase.
Limited Finish Warranty: The finish on Baldwin products (excluding Lifetime Finish and living finish products) is protected by a durable topcoat designed to maintain the beauty and quality of the Baldwin product. The Baldwin Limited Finish Warranty covers the original purchaser for five years from date of purchase for interior use and one year for exterior use.

Except as limited below, Baldwin warrants to the original residential purchaser (the “Purchaser”) that each Baldwin Reserve product shall be free of mechanical defect for as long as the Purchaser occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed.
Limited 25-Year Finish Warranty:
Except as limited below, Baldwin warrants to the Purchaser that the finish on each Baldwin Reserve product shall not corrode, tarnish or discolor for 25 years from the original date of purchase. The warranty is limited to Purchasers who occupy the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. Proof of purchase required.
This warranty does not cover scratches; abrasions; or deterioration due to the use of paints, solvents, or other chemicals; abuse; damage from improper installation, misuse; product(s) used in commercial applications and/or any labor required to remove or replace the product under warranty.
Upon return of a defective product to Baldwin Hardware Corporation, Baldwin, at its sole discretion, may repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price. Baldwin is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Customers outside of the U.S. and Canada, claims under this warranty must be made only to either the place of purchase or to the listed importer.

This warranty DOES NOT COVER scratches; abrasions; deterioration due to the use of paints, solvents, or other chemicals; abuse; misuse; or product(s) used in commercial applications. Upon return of a defective product to Baldwin Hardware Corporation, Baldwin may repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price.
